The Hub Café is a vibrant and bustling place filled with laughter, chatter, and the clinking of utensils.
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods fills the air. The walls are adorned with inspiring
quotes and artwork.
The café is a place to grab a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee. It is also the place we offer cooking classes for our members.
The café's menu features a variety of dishes, including salads, sandwiches, and wraps, as well as a selection of baked goods, such as muffins, cookies, and pastries. The café uses fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and the menu changes regularly to reflect the seasonal availability of produce.
Experienced chefs teach cooking classes at the café and cover a range of topics, from basic cooking techniques to more advanced culinary skills. The classes are open to all youth center members, and participants are encouraged to get hands-on experience in the kitchen.
The café is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive space, with plenty of seating for individuals or groups to gather and socialize. There are also study areas for those needing a quiet workplace or study.
Overall, the café at the youth center is a vibrant and exciting space that provides delicious food and drinks and serves as a hub for learning and creativity. It's a place where young people can come together, share ideas, and develop new skills while enjoying a tasty meal or snack.
Community Service
Hands That Help, Hearts That Lead
Imagine this…
A 70-year-old woman needs help bagging leaves at the end of the fall season. Instead of hiring a company, she reaches out to her local HUB Center and requests a small group of youth volunteers. Just four students giving an hour and a half of their time could make all the difference.
Not only would it be a huge help to her physically, but it also creates a beautiful, intergenerational moment of connection and service.
This woman gives a monthly donation to support the HUB and believes in sowing into the next generation—because one day, they’ll be the ones shaping the world.

Wash and Dry at the Hub
We have a place for you to do your laundry
The availability of these appliances will enable young people to have a reliable and convenient place to do their laundry.
With access to a washer and dryer, youth who may not have access to these facilities at home can take advantage of the service, saving them time and money. Additionally, it could help prevent them from having to resort to using laundromats, which can be expensive and inconvenient for those who have to travel far to reach one.
A washer and dryer at a youth community center could also help build a sense of community among the youth. It could provide a space for them to interact while waiting for their laundry to finish. This could create an opportunity for them to socialize and develop new friendships, which is especially important for youth who may be socially isolated.
