My passion for this foundation stems from a deep, unwavering belief that we must do better for the next generation.
For over a decade, this conviction has weighed heavily on my heart. My awakening came ten years ago when I fully grasped the devastating reality of the prescription drug and heroin epidemic.
Witnessing the countless young lives lost to addiction has been nothing short of heartbreaking. Today, overdose rates among our youth continue to reach record highs, and the urgency to act has never been greater.
Through my journey, I’ve come to understand the deeper roots of addiction, and with that understanding, my commitment has only strengthened. Perhaps it stems from my own unmet needs as a young girl, or maybe it’s the unbearable thought of watching another generation slip away.
Either way, I know in my heart that this foundation is exactly
what our youth need—what they deserve.
No matter how long it takes, I refuse to give up on their future.
